Just like I said in the conclusion last time, these two bosses were due to die. I swear to god Al'ar was the 79th fight we've learned where there's floor ae damage, 79th fight some people have had to learn the concept! A few minor screw ups here and there later, he was dust. Dust, ashes, whatever, dumb phoenix with nerfed hp and adds died! 
Vashj went similarly, we had to toy with some scripts and positions and timers and bloodlust, and go through different levels of motivational speech making, but it went down so so smooth, like a fine shot of Belvedere as opposed to that of a $12.99 bottle Popov. I hope like mad that in my absence, the guild stays cool and crisp, like a Lays ranch potato chip, unilke Zolty prophesied. We had what you might call a slow week, with a day missing and tweaking a few new things like Hydross the way real men do it, and tanks/healers killing Inner Demons, but the patch is here and it's as enjoyable as a season of House. Trash, once torture, is now a treasure trove of lucky charms and easy going. LOOT IS GOOD. Cries of "if only this boss hit for 2000 less it would be SO easy" etc etc have been answered both accurately and ironically.    Tickler got the trinket, Russta the new (I think) incredibly upgradeish boots. We worked on both Al'ar and Vashj a lot this week and Miss Cleo/House's magic 8-ball/the weather man forecast next week kills. I'm peacing out this week for a month, so whether you hear about it depends on whether someone throws the new kills up here. |

Our video section has been overhauled by Kiel, creator of most of our vids since
Nef. The rest are in the process of being hosted and should be up shortly, check them out if you have some spare time, and keep an eye on it for future additions such as vent clips and well constructed remixes!Recruiting
There is one special requirement of all new applicants: Trial of the Naaru: Magtheridon. Yes, we know it's hard, we all had to do it. It's a pain in the ass.
But it's doable. And if you deal with it, fortunately, you're pretty much 100% in. At the moment we'd like to look at warrior, druid,
and mage applications. God those font tag colors look slick. Anyone else with a strong app is welcome to apply, BUT PLEASE NOTE NOT HAVING DONE THE TK ATTUNEMENT HEROICS WILL RESULT
IN IMMEDIATE DENIAL. |

We're leaving you.. just kidding! But we've really started to feel how
much of a ghost town this server is, even to the point of discussing
a guild-wide transfer. We're definitely staying for now, but if by some
act of god you're a guild leader of a large successful guild on another
server who's looking for somewhere quiet to transfer, COME TO OUR
SERVER!!!! Or, if you're the same type of guild already on this
server trying to build up, we're behind you 100%. We'd really like to
see our server grow into one with a set of great guilds and a bit more
world activity. Tonight we took out Leotheras on the 2nd attempt after 2 days of harsh learning. Things definitely clicked, but we also threw thousands in flasks and pots at it over this past week :P Arv got Cataclysm Gloves and Zeroo got Fang of the Leviathan. I'm lacking a kill shot because I took off to here... the Vashj bridge. The animation was quite sexy and what we found on the other side ended up being quite a joke! 97% first attempt.   We killed The Lurker Below too! Almost forgot. First kill loots were Sibanak with Bracers of Eradication and Arv with Tempest-Strider Boots.  We're all at sort of a proverbial loss of breath from learning so many things. The guild bank is completely dead (if you want to buy Kazzak, Gruul, or Doomwalker loot let us know!) and we're relying completely on internal donations to keep the machine running. Bottom line is, though, we can't WAIT for the patch. |
