Anyway, tonight, somehow, we just went in and killed it. Second attempt, 31%. It was our second clean phase 2 ever. Once we all decide we're going to kill something, it drops. Huge props to all the people there and who helped learn, the healing, the tanking, the DPS, everyone.

Tuesday was a sloppy day with a disrupting instance reset, Ebonroc syndrome, Twentytwo not having SpellAlert, being confused by ghetto timers, and all around either sucking or learning, optimist depending. Day two bade much better, since after a few wipes we perfected our rhythm and downed Anub'Rekhan with no deaths until it went into "your raid is now retarded" mode at 2%.

Onto death knights. We got all our frost recipes, leisurely dropped all the trash, and rolled up to Razuvious. And wiped.

On to Abomination trash. This stuff is straightforward once learned but the dynamics are pretty inspirational. It's promising how bliz is creative enough to add intelligent twists nearly everywhere. And then on the 7th day god created Mad Scientist packs. We dropped one of these and then sacrificed a bunch of durability for the other 4 we needed, aggroed Patchwerk, and said goodbye for a long long time.

None of this would have been possible without support from our newest offshoot.. We just told him to pretend Anub was the biggest orange he had ever seen, and he did it all by himself!

And two of the cutest BFF in the guild were spotted taking time for what really matters. Someone put this on a Hallmark card :)

We finally killed Twin Emps tonight. How? Secret. No really, it's ridiculous. We were trying one strat for 3 weeks, and tonight after 8ish wipes in 3ish hours we changed. From there it only took 2 attempts to win. This has happened to us so many times with Razorgore, with Ebonroc, Huhuran, and now with Emps. Stuff just clicked. But here's a story that'll have you possibly as nerve wracked as we were when the very last teleport, at about 2%, went haywire.

Mits was too lost in daydreaming about her new pugio that she couldn't get out in time and it bounced from healer to healer on both sides of the room for 15 seconds at least. How the fuck it didn't heal once I have no idea, but they dropped and it was nuts.

It was an amazing night as are most first kill nights, and made in a really timely manner assuming Naxx is Tuesday. Trash after was loads of fun but it was 1am so we stopped. It'll all get owned sometime this weekend for Bik to get his shield and Mits to get her dagger. And we'll get to meet 2 new friends.

I can't think of a good closer so... FFXI SUCKS LOL

Sup AQ40. After a couple weeks of Nef farming we ran all up in AQ and got through the easy stuff pretty quickly. Everything up to Emps is down, and 2 days of learning (read: wiping) has taught some of us that moving with the keys on our keyboards out of blizzard and away from a 20 ft tall flashing furry alien is a good thing. But not enough people yet - welcome to cockblock status.

Most of us are really fond of AQ, most especially of Anubisath Defenders. Their sleek design testifies to blizz's genius, they are god's gift to mmo's, so go blizz!!1 I think we'll love C'thun trash lol.

Elsehwere, so far 5 people from the guild have hit High Warlord.

I think on Azshara so far there have been 8 horde 14's and 6 alliance ones. To have 5 of those in the guild is something we're pretty proud of and hope to add more to (go Tim!). But this is pvp grind news, how about some real pvp news.

Wait, there is none :\ Except for that the one 5v5 some of us went to had like 10% attendance from the people who said that they'd come. It was odd cause the two alliance teams that showed up were from Letalis! The PVE champion alliance guild of the server. But it was pretty fun, and they were pretty well coordinated and geared.

So yeah, wtb better pvp on Azshara, or cross server bg's, or that 1.12 pvp overhaul. It'll get taken care of, unlike what we've been used to for the past few years.

Lastly, Naxx. It's right on the horizon and it's straight up amazing.

We just got to AQ because of a late gate opening and we're already getting a ridiculously massive new raid which is gonna cause us a ton of scheduling woes. Too much stuff on our hands, but that might be a good thing. It's very very exciting to be almost right up on the frontier of content finally.
